Chief Executive Officer
Isatou Bittaye graduated from the University of The Gambia in 2011 with a degree in Political Science. For several years, she has worked as a journalist with the Foroyaa newspaper. She holds a Diploma in Professional Journalism from the Gambia Press Union/Gambia Media Support project with the Danish School of Journalism. She is a Civic Rights Educator and is passionate about defending the rights of the vulnerable, and the empowerment of women and children. Isatou won the “Best Female Sports Writer of the Year” award in 2009 by the Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia.
Administrator
Lamin Jahateh is a journalist and a blogger. He works for the MarketPlace Newspaper as deputy news editor. He is a correspondent for the Africa Press Agency in The Gambia and also writes feature and opinion articles on various issues for Aljazeera website. As a journalist, he has a special interest in business and financial journalism.
Editor-in-Chief
Demba Kandeh holds a first degree from the University of The Gambia and is a deputy editor at TODAY newspaper. He manages The Gambia Newswave blog.
Editor
Modou S. Joof is a Gambian journalist and blogger. He is the editor and publisher of The North Bank Evening Standard. He is also a news editor at the privately-owned, The Voice newspaper.
Web Master
Abdoulie Nget has work as a journalist in The Gambia since April 2009. He worked with the banned privately owned newspaper, The Daily News. His special interest includes writing, editing and designing.
