The Ghanaian Born chief justice in the Gambia who was reportedly fired by President Yahya Jammeh and has taken refuge in a foreign embassy in Banjul, is safe in Ghana according to a deputy information and Media relations Minister, Murtalla Mohamed.  Speaking on Metro TV’s flagship morning programme, “Good Morning Ghana”, Murtalla said Justice Mabel Agyemang, is already in Ghana and has been having meeting with top officials of government.  He said She has met with Foreign Minister, Hannah Tetteh to find an amicable diplomatic settlement to the matter. He however was unable to say what the matter was that was being settled amicably.
